Experience
Tutoring students in need is something I love to do. Sometimes it helps students to have the material explained from someone closer to their age, than by the possible intimidation of their teachers. I, as a tutor, would like to be someone the students feel like they can relate with and feel comfortable around so they ask questions and don't feel like they're going to be judged. The joy from seeing someone who is struggling but then one day it just "clicks" is something I like to take to heart. I love to help people in any ways that I can. I have no official tutoring experience, but quite frequently helped peers in high school complete assignments and study for tests. And even still in college I have many classmates who seek me out for help on their papers or studying techniques. I received a 26 on my ACT and a 4 on my Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus state exam. Some relevent classes include Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calc, AP Calc, several English courses, German, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, etc.
